The aim is to leave Zurich and head south-west towards Geneva. From Geneva we continue south-west to Grenoble and then Valence. It is then south to Avignon - before south west past Nimes, Montpellier and Perpignan. 1000km sees us just inside Spain - and less than halfway to the port!! The route then continues to Barcelona, a hopeful overnight stop near Valencia. Next day we should head past Alicante, Murcia, Grenada, Malage and then Algeciras.

We will cross into Ceuta - with an approximate route of - Cueta, Larache, Rabat, Marrakech - where we will meet up with family. Hopefully we will spend a few days trekking around Jebel Toubkka. Then on for a few relaxing days in Essaouira, Agadir - and up to the palmeira near Tafraout. We will circle back to Agadir via Tiznit, back up the coast to Agadir and then inland to Tazenakht. We will head off the main roads to Foum Zguid - then over to Zagora before heading North East to Erfoud. From the deserts we will revisit the Imperial Cities of Meknes and Fez. Before making our way back to Ceuta.

We then will head back up through Europe - the same way he came down! In total we will cover around 8500km in 5 weeks!!!
